Ciao! Come out and join a fun, family friendly Mother’s Day weekend tradition! Walk or run in beautiful City Park and enjoy the Bambino Blast kid fun run and play area, clowns, the Hot Mamas’ warm up, pancake breakfast, the unbeatable sounds of the Sharla Jackson Band,and a free massage. Supporting a great cause couldn't be more fun. The Mamma Mia 5K (3.1 miles) is also an official qualifier for the Bolder Boulder! So, grab your friends and family and join us for a delightful morning at City Park.

3 Ways to Participate

1. Run or Walk:

Register and join the fun on Saturday, May 10, 2008, rain or shine. The Mamma Mia 5K is an official qualifier for the Bolder Boulder. The race is judged by USATF rules and is electronically timed by the Ipico Timing System. Shoe tags will be available for pick up at the race. Stay and hang out after the race for an all you can eat breakfast and concert. 2. Make it count! Collect pledges.

You make a difference; by collecting pledges that directly empower the work of HIV Care Link.

Simply register yourself to run/walk, and then ask your friends, family and coworkers to pledge to sponsor you in the race. One way is through the "Make a Pledge" box above. Those who collect their pledge money in advance and bring it with them to the race—totaling more than $100—will receive an official event water bottle. Beef up your pledge efforts with this downloadable PLEDGE FORM. Make a bigger difference—You don’t have to stop at $100—the top three fundraisers will each receive a prize bundle.

3. Invite your friends. Create a team!

Help make this event a success by recruiting a team of more than 5 registered runners and/or walkers.

Simply register yourself to run/walk including a team name on-line at www.getmeregistered.com, and then download your TEAM KIT. The largest team will be presented the Mamma Mia 5K Cup. In addition, the three largest team’s captains will each receive a prize.

Your Registration Includes:

Official event t-shirt (Bambino Blast t-shirt is size youth-small), and goodie bag. Collect pledges totaling more than $100 and also receive an official event water bottle.

Custom made for the 5K run top 3 M/F in each age group (12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+) and top five M/F in the walk.
